The wood and gold inlay is absolutely gorgeous, but I would've preferred that the shell be rubber for better grip (instead of plastic)...which would've looked better too, imo. More practically, the case makes the buttons on the side too indiscernable by touch; too often I've turned the phone off trying to lower the volume. I have to look at the buttons to know for sure which one is which, but I'm sometimes using the phone in the dark.
Other than that, it serves its purpose as great eye candy.
