Gear - Printed Wood Phone Case

Camping takes a surprising amount of gear, and let's be honest, half the fun is in the kit itself. The Gear leans all the way into that, scattering a whole campsite's worth of little outdoor icons across the back of your phone.

The pattern is a loose grid of fine white line drawings: tents and campers, backpacks and boots, axes and lanterns, campfires, maps, mountains, a canoe, a compass, even a moon and a few bugs. It is printed in crisp white ink over a real wenge backer, and because the icons are open line work, the dark brown grain shows through everywhere between them, so the wood reads as the background rather than getting covered up. The grain runs differently behind every print, so no two are exactly alike.

Each Gear is made on a real wenge backer in our Mississauga workshop, with the design printed in high-resolution UV ink directly onto the finished, laser-cut wood. Printing onto real wenge rather than a flat panel is what gives the icons that warm, woodsy backdrop and keeps the grain part of the design. Available for all current iPhone and Samsung Galaxy models, with integrated MagSafe magnets and a soft microfiber interior lining on iPhone 13 and newer.

Our cases are created using high-resolution UV printing on laser cut, hand-finished wood veneer, and a Flexible TPU Rubber shell.
